Meet the MFSN Hosts

Dan Ratner

Dr. Dan Ratner began his fantasy sports career in 2006, after being persuaded, largely against his will, to check it out. He was worried it would corrupt his Cleveland sports’ rooting, but he didn’t know that real sports playoffs never overlap with fantasy sports season.

In his first baseball season, he won his league and was bitten by the fantasy sports bug. He has since won 6 baseball championships (7 counting a side league), three basketball championships, and 1 football championship (alas, only in a side league). He gets particularly amped up over keeper leagues and is now in his first foray with a dynasty league. He’s in so deep that he sometimes even thinks of himself by his baseball moniker, Joboo’s Rum (yes, he knows it’s not spelled like it was in Major League, but he found that out six years in. It’s a full blown brand). Known as Foghorn Shoehorn in football and Hot Rod Time Machine in basketball, he is a trade machine
and strategy junky who can help you see the game within the game.
